How quickly will I receive my reports?

Can I manipulate the Companies House data?

Companies House documents are scanned images which we deliver in a pdf format. No, they cannot be changed in any way, they are legally admissible documents.

Can I conduct a free Company Search?

Bogeyman has a free Company Search facility. Historically a Company Search was a trawl of all Companies House documents pertaining to a particular Company. In the modern era we can provide free information such as the Company’s registered number and address and key dates, such as last filed and last analysed accounts before you need to commit to purchasing a Company Credit Report.

Can I conduct a free Directors Search?

Bogeyman gives you the opportunity to search the Company Directors database by Directors name and Company postcode. We can then list the number of Directorships and Shareholdings held by that officer, be they of trading, dormant or dissolved companies, as well as any resignations during the last five years. You can then decide if you want to purchase the Individual Directors report to further examine the involvement of this officer.

What is Companies House?

Companies House is responsible for the incorporation and dissolution of limited companies. Companies House will accept examine and keep all company information which a limited company must file under the Companies Act. Companies House is the public keeper of record and makes this information available to the general public.

What is a Companies House Document?

Every Companies House form filled out by a limited Company is filed with Companies House. Since around 1995 all of these documents have been scanned and are now available to buy. What does monitoring mean?

A Company Credit report is based on the most up-to-date data available. As we all know in the modern market place things can change very rapidly. By putting a target company under ‘monitor’, you can be sure that as soon as there is a change in the credit rating of a company you will be notified. Bogeyman will email an alert to the address or addresses you supply.

Is monitoring free?

In brief – ‘yes’. There are two ways to put a company on your monitor list. Firstly register as a member with us (no financial commitment, just an email address will do). Then if you purchase any of our Company Credit Reports you will see that you have the option to place that target on monitor. Alternatively, conduct a free Company Search and check the box to add that target to monitor. You can review your monitor list through the member area at any time.

What is the Credit Score?

The Credit Score is for limited Companies a calculated measure of the Company’s relative likelihood of failing within the next twelve months compared to other companies with a similar rating in its sector.

For a sole-trader or partnership the Credit Score is a measure of the likelihood of a debt not being repaid within the next twelve months.

How do I pay for a Bogeyman Credit Report?

You can very simply and easily buy on-line with a debit or credit card without having to register anything other than an email address for delivery of the report. Alternatively prepay into your account to receive member terms. We are also happy to provide account terms with monthly invoicing – please contact us to discuss requirements.

Are all Bogeyman Company Credit Reports the same?

Bogeyman offers a wide range of Company Credit Reports and Company Director Reports, each varying in price and detail as laid out in our Report Comparison. There will also be variations between the same level reports on different companies as different sized companies have different reporting obligations. Also reports will vary according to the trading history of the Company.

Do you provide discount?

We are happy to reward anyone opening an account with us by offering more attractive terms. The greatest incentives are available to pre-pay clients who can load their account up front. We can provide individually tailored solutions, so please contact us to discuss your requirements.

What do I do if my report doesn’t appear?

Please contact us immediately and we will trace the cause of the problem. Non-delivery from our servers is very rare, but we will immediately refund your card or your account should the problem have been a Bogeyman fault. We can quickly and accurately identify at which point delivery failed.
